Parry Announces Key Southern Minnesota Endorsements

Earns Support of State Senators and Conservative Activists

The Parry for Congress campaign is pleased to announce endorsements from key grassroots leaders and elected officials in southern Minnesota, including state Senators Dave Senjem (R-Rochester) and Doug Magnus, (R-Slayton).

Mike Parry:  "A week ago, I enjoyed conversations with southern Minnesotans in nine cities during our kick-off tour.  Everyone agrees that Washington is broken, and Congressman Tim Walz is part of the problem.  I appreciate the endorsements from these respected leaders."

"During his visit to Rochester last week, Senator Parry said something that was very special and sets him apart from nearly everyone in Congress, or running for Congress: he knows what it's like to sign both sides of a pay check.  He has been in the trenches.  He understands what it takes to grow jobs and to make business work, something our country desperately needs in these terribly uncertain times.

Senator Parry is the kind of leader the people of Southern Minnesota can rely on to jump start our economy and make job growth and a new prosperity our nation's number one priority moving forward," said Sen. Dave Senjem.

"As Chair of the Senate Agriculture Committee, I've had the opportunity to work with Mike Parry and I can say that Minnesota's farm families would be in good hands if they elected him to Congress.  Mike has a proven record of cutting spending and opposing massive tax hikes like cap-and tax, two things that our current Congressman clearly lacks," said Sen. Doug Magnus.

List of Southern Minnesota leaders endorsing Mike Parry for Congress:

Al Arends, Albert Lea (Freeborn County BPOU)

Paul Fitzsimmons, Good Thunder (Blue Earth County BPOU)

Norrine Jensen, New Richland (Steele County BPOU)

Tom Kemp, Waseca (Waseca County BPOU)

Charles Mills, Austin (Mower County BPOU)

Senator Dave Senjem, Rochester

Senator Doug Magnus, Slayton
