Parry Statement On House Debt Ceiling Vote

Waseca, Minn. - Congressional candidate Mike Parry released the following statement regarding the House of Representatives' vote against the President's request to raise the debt ceiling by an additional $1.2 trillion:

"Today's debt ceiling vote is yet another sad reminder that Washington politicians of both parties have failed this country by allowing our debt to spiral out of control," said Mike Parry. "I'm fed up with politicians in Washington like Congressman Walz who are doing nothing to solve our problems and who bicker amongst themselves instead of balancing the budget. It's time southern Minnesota has a voice in Washington who's willing to make the tough decisions we need to get our nation's fiscal house in order."
